NFC (Near Field Communication)

NFC can be used for cashless payment and access systems - find out more about the possibilities.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a radio technology used for wireless transmission of data at short range. The range is maximum 10 meters. That is why NFC is suitable for cashless payment systems and access systems – unlike Bluetooth. Otherwise, NFC can complete Bluetooth applications, since it is able to establish a quick initial connection between devices. NFC and RFID are quite similar. The difference is that, using RFID, 2 devices cannot actively send and receive simultaneously. Apple products do not fully support NFC at the moment.
